Cardamom /Yelakkai

Cardamom  is commonly known as queen of spices.Cardamom is a common ingredient In Indian cooking. Cardamom is a spice that originated in India. It has a strong, unique taste, with an intensely aromatic fragrance. Green cardamom is one of the most expensive spices by weight but little is needed to make the flavour.Our farmers meticulously harvest the cardamom pods by handpicking them and then sun dry them. Once dry, they are sorted & packed.

USES

1. It is often used in traditional Indian sweets
2. It is used in masala chai (spiced tea).

4. Individual seeds are sometimes chewed and used in much the same way as chewing gum.
